Dear Paul. Thank you for your support and your good wishes. There is are many wooden horses at and near Troy. The wooden horse on the site was built in 1975 by artist Izzer Senemoglu. You can climb in it. The horse of the 2004 movie Troy stands in the main square of the provincial capital at Canakkale. It is made of foam. And there are several horses at restaurants on the way to Troy. We will send you an exclusive phote of one of these. But I doubt whether we will excavate THE Trojan horse.....

The Archaeology of Archaeology approach that we have formulated is experimental and new. As a group, we are not aware of similar projects. Does any-one know if this has been done elsewhere?

Hello John, this certainly the plan. We will share a first, preliminary reports with our backers in September, after the summer campaign. We aim to publish in an academic journal during the winter. But we will continue to share our findings through social media and our website!
